Clear boundaries for website and RFQ information.
This notice explains how Ferostar handles general enquiries, project information and RFQ files submitted through this website.
Last updated: 24 August 2026.This notice applies to the current Ferostar website and enquiry workflows.
1. Company and data controller
The website and its enquiry processes are operated by Huizhou Ferostar Can Making Technology Co., Ltd., which acts as the data controller for information submitted through the Ferostar website.
The company's primary operating and production address is Floors 1–2, Building 4, No. 11 Yinluo 2nd Road, Shuikou Subdistrict, Huicheng District, Huizhou, Guangdong, China.
Privacy enquiries may be sent to [email protected].
2. Information we collect
Information may be provided through the general contact form, the Request a Quote form or direct communication with Ferostar. Depending on the enquiry, this may include:
- Name, company, business email and country or region.
- Product application, estimated quantity, dimensions or Product reference.
- Structure, material, printing, finish, accessory and delivery requirements.
- Messages, telephone or WhatsApp details when voluntarily supplied.
- PDF, JPG or JPEG, PNG, WebP, DOCX or XLSX files uploaded for quotation review.
3. How information is used
Submitted information is used to answer enquiries, assess project requirements, review tooling and sampling options, prepare quotations, communicate about production planning and maintain appropriate project or quality records.
Where you ask Ferostar to assess or quote a project, processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract. Ferostar also relies on legitimate interests to manage ordinary business communications, protect the website and maintain appropriate operational records.
Ferostar does not publish RFQ information or uploaded project files as public website media. Customer brands, artwork and identifiable project details are treated as non-public unless separate permission for publication has been confirmed.
Ferostar does not sell or rent personal information submitted through these forms, does not automatically add enquirers to marketing lists and does not use the website to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
4. RFQ files, access and retention
RFQ attachments are stored privately and are accessible only to authorised personnel involved in enquiry and project review. Up to five files may be uploaded, each no larger than 10 MB, with a combined attachment limit of 50 MB per enquiry.
General Contact submissions and RFQ main records are normally reviewed for deletion or anonymisation 24 months after the last substantive communication. Unconverted RFQ attachments are normally reviewed after 12 months. For an active project, the review date may be extended from the last substantive communication; records connected to an order or contract are transferred to the applicable business, contractual or legal record-keeping process.
Review dates are maintained in Ferostar's administration system. Reaching a review date does not cause an automatic deletion: authorised personnel review and carry out any retention action manually.
Do not upload payment-card details, government identification documents or other information that is not needed for the packaging enquiry.
5. Service providers and transfers
Cloudflare, Inc. provides DNS, TLS, edge security and caching through its global network. Tencent Cloud provides the production server, website database and private file storage in Hong Kong through the applicable Tencent Cloud contracting entity and overseas affiliate. Tencent Enterprise Mail and WeCom provide business email storage, transmission and hosting in China.
Website enquiries are handled by Ferostar in China. Cloudflare edge processing and delivery of email to overseas recipients may involve processing in other countries or regions. Service-provider access is limited to the services being supplied and is governed by the applicable service, privacy, data-processing and security terms.
6. Your choices and requests
You may contact Ferostar to ask about the personal information associated with your enquiry, or to request correction or deletion where applicable. Some information may need to be retained for legitimate project, legal, security or record-keeping reasons.
Send privacy requests to [email protected]. Ferostar may need reasonable information to verify the request and locate the relevant record.
Ferostar aims to acknowledge a privacy request within three working days and to complete it within the time required by applicable law.
7. Cookies and analytics
The website currently uses only technologies necessary for operation. These include a short-lived, secure RFQ confirmation receipt and a browser-stored display preference. Ferostar does not currently load GA4, advertising pixels or other optional analytics technologies. If optional analytics are enabled later, this notice and any required preference controls will be updated before they are deployed.
8. General legal notices
Website content provides general information about Ferostar products, tooling and manufacturing capabilities. Product availability, exact dimensions, tooling compatibility, pricing, sampling, timing and production requirements remain subject to project review and written confirmation.
Text, brand assets, photographs and product media may be protected by copyright, trademark or other rights. They may not be reproduced for commercial use without appropriate permission.
Where an older website URL has a clear replacement, the production site should use a permanent redirect. URLs without an appropriate destination should be assessed individually rather than redirected indiscriminately.
